11A- Idea Napkin #1  


1. I am Johnny Long from Daytona Beach, Florida and i enjoy expanding my knowledge on business , especially sports. My skills would be my drive to succeed alongside marketing/advertising. MeanTime is the web based app that allows people to view the length of their favorite bars lines so they can get the most done in the "mean time" instead of waiting in the line itself. My aspirations for this app is to fine tune the premise of the app and release it to the public at a few major college campuses in the United States.

2. I am offering the consumer to make whatever they want out of this app. They can look at the live feed to base how soon they want to go to the bar, start at a more empty bar to wait in the mean time, or not go at all because the lines are too long. Everyone hates waiting in the lines so this helps the consumer figure out the best time for them and their friends is to go where they want to go.

3. I am offering this to students that attend college university that also enjoy going to their favorite bars on the weekends with their friends that also have busy work or school schedules.

4. These consumers care because everyone is impatient alongside busy lives. Anyone will do little things to maximize their time and not wait in lines.  People are appealed to things that allows them to do things faster than usual.

5.  As of now, i don't think there is any thing like this idea. There is no way to check the line length or bar fullness other than word of mouth so i think this opens a door of convincy for college students.


I believe that the elements of this idea do fit together but it doesn't need a good amount of fine tuning.  I still need to narrow the logistics of the functionality of the idea with working with the bars to cooperate.

29A- Venture Idea No.2 “MeanTime” is a web based app that allows college students (over age of 21) to check the lines and capacity of their favorite bars on campus through a live stream update system. Through this system, students can see what the line is like at their favorite bars on campus and make their plan for that night with their friends. Just like surfer use online webcams to check the waves without going all the way to the beach, students can check the live feeds through the app to maximize their time rather than going all the way to the bar and wait in line for a majority of their night. 30A- Final Reflection 1. After reading through my posts I can see the process of how I changed throughout the course. I the beginning you can tell that I hadn't totally grasp the idea yet or even the full aspect of the course but as I moved farther into the course I got into my idea and started to run with it. Definitely the biggest low I had was when I figured I was submitting my work incorrectly. I was devastated! But life is all about battling through adversity so thats what I did. The biggest up would be when I really started rolling with my idea and started to get creative with it. 2.
