9A- testing the hypothesis part 2
1. Thor Lessard- Friend on
campus. " I used to go out bi weekly or more freshman and sophomore year
but i don't go out that much anymore. I think its a really cool idea but it
doesn't really apply to me. I would definitely try it out when i go out next
though.
2. Sydney Parks- Family.
" I like the idea!! Im always out of town though! Would this idea just apply
to Gainesville or college towns? Or would it be able to expand to big city
environments?"
3. Connor Nyborg- Tulane Pre
Med. " I only get one night a week, usually Friday night, to go have drink
with friends and we typically stay away from Bourbon street because of lines
etc. It definite would expand where kids on our campus went"
4. Kevin Share- Web
Designer for Florida Blue. " Ive actually thought of something similar to
this before, no one likes to wait for anything. People make reservations for
dinner or surfers check the waves online here in Jacksonville so they don't
have to wait at the beach all day. Its the closest you're gunna get to those
ideas just for the bar scene."
5. Tori Parks- Port St.
Lucie resident- " This would actually have a lot of benefits. For someone
moving to a new area and wants to learn the scene like whats the places to go
and what crowds go where this is a good sample of what you're getting rather
than having to go all the way there to find out.
Who: I think the people this
idea is targeted for or " inside the boundary" is people that have
big night life schedules who also have busy schedules and want to make the most
of their time. College is a balance and it is important to use your time
wisely.
What: The cause of the need
is fear of missing out, students don't want to be waiting in line at one place
when they can instead start at a bar that is less crowded and then hop over to
their intended bar once they check and see the lines has shortened.
Why: No its not different
for people outside or inside, it applies to both but people inside will have
that feeling or want to not waste time more often because they're going out
more than people outside the boundary.
Inside the boundary:
who: anyone who likes to go
to bars or clubs where there is often a wait
What: the need is people
hate waiting in lines, this allows people to accomplish other tasks while they
wait and go at the best time.
Why: the need exists because
people have busy lives and are impatient so this helps customers not waste time
waiting in line.
Johnny,
ReplyDeleteYou have an interesting idea here. I do think that your target market is a little more specific, due to the fact that not everyone partakes in night life activities. Also, some crowds of people might not mind waiting in line, as it gives them a chance to get some fresh air or for the smokers in the group, smoke a cigarette. Some groups might not like the idea of going into a completely crowded bar at all, so the line would automatically steer them away to find a less packed spot. Overall, great analysis!
